The Big Short

If you consider yourself a good resident, you have a moral obligation to see The Big Short. Laughs aside, the movie should make you so angry that you toughen your resolve to help see that something this tawdry never again occurs. I'm referring to the financial collapse in the U.S. and the resulting global economic meltdown.

Bank Card returned

We want to personally thank the Christmas Angel who returned our bank card to our front door step. We wish we had the opportunity to know who the angel was so we could express our sincere appreciation but know that there truly was a "Christmas Miracle" at our house.

Strategy working

The retaking of Ramadi by American trained Iraqi army demonstrates President Obama's strategy is working. Once you get past all of the bluster and hyperbole spewed by some Republican candidates for the presidency, it becomes obvious that they offer nothing substantially different from the course we're on.
