Gloria Willis

Gloria Mae Willis, 59, of Cape Girardeau passed away Sunday, Dec. 27, 2015, in Cape Girardeau.

She was born May 9, 1956, in Steele, Missouri, to Robert Parnell and Vinia (Holloman) Willis.

Gloria was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed dancing, going to the casino and spending time with her family.

Survivors include two sisters, Evie Willis and Bertha Smith of Cape Girardeau; five brothers, Tommie Willis of Cape Girardeau, Leon (Christine) Willis and Ilander Willis of Rockville, Illinois, Eugene Willis of Washington state and Robert Downs of Malden, Missouri; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Funeral Home.

Funeral service will follow at noon at the funeral home, with George Smith officiating.

Burial will take place at a later date.
