Loving her was easy, saying goodbye is not. Pamela Fay Simpson, 55, peacefully passed away Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2015, at her home in Jackson.

Pam was the "oldest" of twin daughters born Dec. 25, 1960, to her mother, Pauline, who preceded her in death, and father, Buford, who survives. She also leaves behind her sister, Paula, with whom she shared many adventures. Theirs was an unbreakable bond that will not be separated even in death.

Pam attended high school in Kennett, Missouri, before graduating from Southeast Missouri State University in 1983. She joined the Gamma Phi Beta Zeta Delta chapter as only one of three alumna initiates in the fall of 1996 and served as membership advisor and secretary of the House Corp Board. After graduation, Pam was employed by her alma mater as the administrative secretary to the vice president of student affairs. Upon leaving the university in 1997, she became a highly regarded and well-respected legal assistant at the Limbaugh Firm.

Pam was a loving godmother to Zachary Schloss and shared a special bond with his brothers, Ben and Kyle Schloss. They were the light of her life. Pam was also mother to two feline babies, Kiki and Coco.

Known as "Pammy" by many, our diva was sassy and strong; a forever friend. She enjoyed attending St. Louis Cardinals games and concerts near and far. The times she spent at the beach in Destin, Florida, were some of her favorite memories; it was truly her paradise. Pam lived life to the fullest each and every day. She leaves behind an enormous number of friends who were blessed to have crossed her path.
