Annette Marie "Anne" Sisco-Haskell died peacefully surrounded by her loved ones Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2015, in Cape Girardeau at the age of 48.

She was born Aug. 16, 1967, in Fairbury, Illinois, to Charles Sisco and Patti Kurtenbach. She and Scott Haskell were married Saturday, March 31, 2001, in Normal, Illinois.

It is said people only truly die when no one is left to remember them. Anne will continue to live on in the hearts of her husband, Scott Haskell; her daughter, Chantel (Jake) Reeder; her father, Charles (Felicitas) Sisco; her mother, Patti (Rex) Perzee; her sister, Cindy Rathbun; her brother, David Sisco; her stepbrothers, Randy, George and Chuck Perzee; her nieces, Michelle, Amanda and Samantha; and her four cats, who will miss her dearly, Gus, Emma, Elly and Katy.

Anne will be remembered for her unwavering strength, contagious smile, desire to travel the world, compassion for animals and the tremendous love she had for her family. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening and spoiling her animals.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until noon Saturday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be at noon at the funeral home, with the Rev. Shawn Wasson officiating. Burial will be at Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to the Humane Society of Southeast Missouri in her name.
