The fourth-seeded St. Vincent boys basktball team held on to defeat No. 3 Zalma 52-46 in the third-place game of the Warrrior Winter Classic on Wednesday in Ste. Genevieve, Missouri.

Trevor Leible scored 14 points to lead the way for the Indians. Darren Ernst added 10 points for St. Vincent (4-6).

The Bulldogs had four players reach double figures, led by Peyton Ford (13) and Cole Shelby (12). Christopher Lombeida added 11 points for Zalma (7-3) while Luke Robertson contributed 10 points.

The No. 2 Cardinals fell to the top-seeded Bulldogs in the championship game in Farmington, Missouri.

Krista Rhodes finished with 13 points to pace Woodland (7-2), which trailed 21-14 at halftime.

Courtney Callahan had 17 points to lead West County (9-2) while Alyssa Roever added 11 points.

The fifth-seeded Pirates claimed third place with a victory over the Lancers in Farmington, Missouri.

Kylie Bilek powered Perryville (5-7), finishing with 18 points, five offensive rebounds, four assists and three steals. Emma Nelson contributed 13 points for the Pirates.

St. Pius X was led by Machela Cook, who had 13 points. Elle Russell added 11 points for the Lancers.
