MORLEY, Mo. -- Virgil Dean Dollins, 76, of Morley passed away Friday, Jan. 1, 2016, at the family home in Morley.
He was born Nov. 17, 1939, in Bertrand, Missouri, to the late James Herschel and Mary Ellen Connelley Dollins.
Virgil was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked on an assembly line for Carter Carburetor in St. Louis and for Rowe Furniture in Morehouse, Missouri. He was of the Pentecostal faith.
Survivors include two sisters, Rebecca Sloan of Sikeston, Missouri, and Martha Crotts of Morley; and several nieces and nephews.
He also was preceded in death by a sister, Gladys Arline Allard, and two nephews.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until time of service Monday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran, Missouri.
The funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Monday at the chapel, with the Rev. Rick McNeeley officiating. Burial will be at New Morley Cemetery in Morley.
