Beatty -- Dodd

Carolyn Rose Beatty of St. Louis and Thomas Mykle Dodd were married June 13, 2015, at Shrine of St. Joseph Catholic Church in St. Louis. The Rev. Wally Sidney, S.J., performed the ceremony. Music was provided by Chris Goeke and Lori Schaffer, both of Cape Girardeau.

The bride is the daughter of Jim and Judie Beatty of St. Louis. The groom is the son of Tim and Loretta Dodd of Cape Girardeau.

Matron of honor was Janice Holt of St. Louis, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Mary Dodd of Cape Girardeau, sister of the groom; Jessie Theby of St. Louis; Mary Ann Boyd of O'Fallon, Missouri; Rebecca Talken of St. Peters, Missouri; and Ali Theisen of Jerseyville, Illinois.

Patrick Duffy of Kansas City, Missouri, was best man. Groomsmen were James Beatty of St. Louis, brother of the bride; Sean Sedlmayr of Valley Park, Missouri; Charles Hirt of Cape Girardeau; Taylor Herbst of Cape Girardeau; and Danny Chestnut of Chesterfield, Missouri.

The flower girl was Sylvie Beatty of St. Louis, cousin of the bride. Ring bearers were Owen Beatty, Benjamin Schneider and Alexander Schneider, all of St. Louis and cousins of the bride.

Program attendants were Peyton McDaniel and Will McDaniel of Steele, Mis--souri, cousins of the groom. Guest book attendants were Tatum Dodd and Riley Dodd, both of Cape Girardeau and cousins of the groom.

Ushers were Jordan Wagner of Steele, cousin of the groom; Austin Wagner of Steele, cousin of the groom; and David Uptmor of Cape Girardeau.

A reception was held at Glen Echo Country Club in Normandy, Missouri.

The rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom's parents on June 12 in the Moto Museum at the Triumph Grill in St. Louis.

The bride is a 2008 graduate of St. Joseph's Academy in St. Louis. She received a bachelor of science degree in dance with a minor in chemistry from Southeast Missouri State University in 2012. She is a lead pharmacy technician at CVS in Creve Coeur, Missouri.

The groom is a 2008 graduate of Cape Central High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in international business. He is a financial service consultant at First Community Credit Union in Des Peres, Missouri.

After a wedding trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple lives in St. Louis.
