Joyce Ann "Mickey" Livingston, 73, of Scott City died Sunday, Jan. 10, 2016, with her sister by her side at Hunter Acres Care Center in Sikeston, Missouri. She was born Oct. 15, 1942, to Harold Lee and Jueldeen Kathleen Palmer Livingston. Joyce graduated from Illmo-Scott City High School. She retired from Thorngate in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. She spent her retirement enjoying her family and friends. She loved her life and her family. Her nieces and nephews became her children...

Joyce Ann "Mickey" Livingston, 73, of Scott City died Sunday, Jan. 10, 2016, with her sister by her side at Hunter Acres Care Center in Sikeston, Missouri.

She was born Oct. 15, 1942, to Harold Lee and Jueldeen Kathleen Palmer Livingston.

Joyce graduated from Illmo-Scott City High School. She retired from Thorngate in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. She spent her retirement enjoying her family and friends. She loved her life and her family. Her nieces and nephews became her children.

She is survived by two sisters, Betty Stephens and Sharon Swinford; a sister-in-law, Rosemary "Kitten" Livingston; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant sister; her oldest sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Gary Wright; a brother, Harold Lee Livingston; two brothers-in-law, Eugene Swinford and Floyd "Deon" Stephens; two nephews; a niece; and a great-nephew.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Rennie Phillips officiating.

Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.

Family requests memorial be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
