The American Red Cross will hold a multi-agency resource center for flood victims Thursday in Alexander County, Illinois.
The event will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Horseshoe Lake Chamber of Commerce, 22434 Railroad St. in Olive Branch.
Many faith-based, government and humanitarian organizations will offer services and support at the event for victims of flooding in Illinois, according to a news release from the Southeast Missouri Chapter of the American Red Cross. The Red Cross will have caseworkers, nurses and mental-health counselors on hand.
Some government agencies require proof of state residency to provide aid, the release stated.
Lunch and dinner will be provided.
