SEARCY, Ark. -- Alice Faye Geiser, 73, of Searcy, formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2016, at Searcy Health and Rehab in Searcy. SEARCY, Ark. -- Alice Faye Geiser, 73, of Searcy, formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2016, at Searcy Health and Rehab in Searcy.

She was born Friday, April 3, 1942, in Chaffee, Missouri, to William E. and Mary Humphrey Edwards.

She worked as an inspector for Coin Acceptors in St. Louis for several years.

Survivors include a son, Gary Lynn Geiser of Sikeston, Missouri; two daughters, Debra Lynn Quinton of Piedmont, Missouri, and Cindy Green of Paragould, Arkansas; a brother, Dean Edwards of Cape Girardeau; three sisters, Ella Lorene (Bill) Bishop of Dexter, Missouri, Mildred Bullen of Red Bay, Alabama, and Wanda Taylor of Pontiac, Missouri; three grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers and three sisters.

Friends may call from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Allan Saunders officiating. Burial will be at Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.

Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society.
