The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Jerome L. Bridges, 30, 1128 S. Kingshighway, was arrested on a Franklin County, Illinois, warrant for forgery and a Ste. Genevieve County, Missouri, warrant for driving with a suspended license.
  • Joseph A. King, 29, of Sikeston, Missouri, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for theft.
  • Andrew L. Cole, 38, of Thebes, Illinois, was arrested on an Alexander County, Illinois, warrant for forgery.
  • Heather L. Trousdale, 34, 175 Greenbrier Drive, was arrested on a Scott City warrant for failure to appear in court for a traffic violation.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of burglary.

Summons

  • Angelina F. Whitney, no age given, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for trespassing and shoplifting at Save-A-Lot, 121 S. Sprigg St.

Theft

  • A rope barrier with flags was reported stolen from a Teen Challenge car wash at 16 S. West End Blvd.

  • Burglary and damage to a door was reported at 1518 Rand St.

Assaults

  • Domestic assault was reported.
  • Assault was reported.

Property damage

  • Deadbolt locks were reported damaged at the Shawnee Sports Complex, 1157 S. West End Blvd.
  • Two tires were reported damaged at 1105 S. Benton St.

Miscellaneous

  • Child molestation was reported.
  • Identity theft was reported.
  • Forgery was reported.
