Ahnie Hoff scored a game-high 15 points as the Perryville girls basketball team defeated visiting Woodland 51-46 in overtime Thursday night.

Emma Nelson added 10 points for Perryville (7-9), which trailed by two points at halftime.

Mara Grindstaff scored 13 points and Krista Rhodes finished with 12 points to pace Woodland (11-7).

Freshman Derez Tipler tallied 17 points and was one of East Prairie's five players who finished in double digits in the Eagles' conference road rout over the Bobcats.

Luke Marcum netted 15 points for East Prairie (10-9, 4-1 Scott-Mississippi Conference), which held a commanding 40-point lead at halftime. Dylan Lingle, Brett Ellis and Alex Cowgill added 12 points each for the Eagles.

The Indians placed first in six events to win a tri-meet with the Celts and Crusaders at the Southeast Aquatics Center.

Senior Caitlyn Palmer won two events -- the 50 freestyle (25.89 seconds) and the 100 freestyle (57.13 seconds) -- to lead the Indians to victory. She broke the poool record in the 100 freestyle by .14 seconds that Notre Dame's Morgan Morris originally set in 2010.
