Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz will make a stop in Cape Girardeau on Saturday.
The announcement was made at the end of a Cape Girardeau County Republican Women's Club meeting Friday, just after noon. The campaign later confirmed the appearance.
Cruz will be holding a rally at Academic Hall on the campus of Southeast Missouri State University at 5 p.m.
