Deborah Ablett-Miner

ANNA, Ill. -- Deborah Jordan Ablett-Miner, 61, of Anna, formerly of Aurora, Illinois, died at 1:19 p.m. Friday, March 11, 2016, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born August 18, 1954, in Cairo, Illinois, the daughter of George and Doris (Minor) Harp.

Deborah was employed by Union County Hospital for the past eight years. She was an avid book reader and enjoyed genealogy.

She is survived by three daughters, Lori (Robert) Burke of Streator, Illinois, Michelle Zalinski of Tamms, Illinois, and Elizabeth (Peter) Thibault of Glenbernie, Maryland; sisters, Karen (James) Goodman of Seattle and Vicki Bosecker of Wickliffe, Kentucky; brothers, Steven Harp of Sun City, Arizona, and Thomas Glaab of Anna; stepfather, Charles Grigsby of Tamms, Illinois; four grandchildren, Kyle Persinger, Cameron Baugher, Aaron Thibault and Eva-Marie Thibault, with Charles Thibault expected in July; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Deborah was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Crain Funeral Home in Anna-Jonesboro.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Larry Buckles officiating. Interment to follow in Green Lawn Memorial Garden in Villa Ridge, Illinois.
