Christian virtue?
In voting to allow unconstitutional discrimination against large numbers of people, a Missouri legislator apparently justified his action on the grounds that Missouri "is a very Christian state," thus, if true, enshrining intolerance as the very essence of Christian virtue.
Spending problem
The city of Cape Girardeau is squandering taxes to subsidize the golf course and Shawnee park and other enterprises to the tune of $1,500 (capegirardeaumo.zpost.us). The city budget for 2003-2004 was $44,991,152. For 2012-2013 it was $130,222,713. No more taxes! It is a spending problem.
Checks and balances
Under current precedent, the American president can give a secret order to kill an American citizen without charges or a trial. Do you want someone like Donald Trump to have that power? There must be an open and bipartisan effort to restore the almost nonexistent system of checks and balances in the area of national security, a concept woven into our cherished constitution by the likes of Founding Father James Madison.

Game attendance
If we could get the handful of protesters from the Ted Cruz rally to come watch a SEMO basketball game we could double the attendance to 15 spectators.
