Body found after blaze destroys home near St. Clair
ST. CLAIR, Mo. -- A fire in eastern Missouri is under investigation after a body was found inside a burned home. The Washington Missourian reported the fire was called in late Wednesday near St. Clair in Franklin County. Firefighters found the body inside the residence. The Washington Missourian reported the fire was called in late Wednesday near St. Clair in Franklin County. Firefighters found the body inside the residence. The victim's name has not been released.
It took about 90 minutes to bring the fire under control. Franklin County arson officers were investigating.
