SAN DIEGO -- A California fisherman's beloved German shepherd fell overboard Feb. 10. The 1 1/2-year-old dog named Luna was presumed lost at sea -- until Tuesday, when staff arriving for work at the Naval Auxiliary Landing Field on San Clemente Island, a training base 70 miles off San Diego, spotted a dog sitting by the side of the road.
