All the high school events reported Monday to the Southeast Missourian.

The Saxony Lutheran exploded for 11 runs in the fourth inning and disposed of visiting Meadow Heights 13-2 in baseball action Monday.

Nathan Hurst went the distance to get the win on the mound for Saxony Lutheran (6-2). He allowed two earned runs, struck out seven and walked one.

Dusty Lorenz hit a triple to record the only extra-base hit of the game and drove in two runs for the Crusaders. Paris Johnson had three of Saxony's 11 hits.

Jacob Douglas suffered the loss. He pitched 3 1/3 innings and allowed six runs (four earned) on seven hits. He struck out two and walked five.

Blake Bollinger went 2-for-3 at the plate and drove in one run to pace Meadow Heights (2-5).

Cade Long went 2 for 3 at the plate as the Hornets dropped a conference loss in six innings on the road to the undefeated Mules.

Losing pitcher Brandon Sokolowski allowed nine hits and eight runs (six earned) with no strikeouts and six walks in five innings of work for Advance (1-5, 0-1 SCAA Conference).

Owen Foster went five innings to earn the shutout on the mound for Bernie (6-0, 2-0), giving up three hits. He had three strikeouts and no walks. Blake Beacham got the save in the final inning, allowing just one hit and recording one strikeout.

Austin Beck belted a home run and added a double with two RBIs to help lead the Mules to victory.

Wyatt LeDure hit a double and drove in three runs as the Hawks won in five innings on the road.

Jonathon Tyler went the distance to get the win on the mound for Kelly (2-7). He recorded six strikeouts and no walks. He also had a double.

Ty Householder added a double and two RBIs for the Hawks.

Keegan Cooper allowed three hits and five earned runs with no strikeouts and three walks, picking up the pitching loss in 2/3 innings of work on the mound for Woodland (1-6).

Garrett Cronk produced the lone hit for the Cardinals.

Southeast Missouri State verbal commit Trey McDaniel blasted a grand slam and added a three-run homer to lead the Bears.

Bobby Wright added a two-run home run for the Cubs.

Timmy Hector endured the loss. He pitched one inning and gave up five runs (one earned) on four hits. He struck out one and walked no batters.

Austin Phillips and Noah Vandiver each had a hit for Bloomfield (1-1, 0-1).

Madi Parr went the distance in the circle to get the win for Kennett (6-1). She allowed five earned runs, struck out seven and walked one.

Sydney Patton hit two doubles and three RBIs, while Hannah Criswell added one double and three RBIs for the Indians.

Mara Grindstaff belted two triples as the Cardinals remained hot and crushed the Wildcats in the conference road romp.

Pitcher Mackenzie Altenthal collected the win for Woodland (6-1, 4-0 SCAA Conference). She pitched three no-hit innings with five strikeouts and two walks. Hope Green got the save in the final two innings, giving up one hit with three strikeouts and four walks. Green also hit a double and batted in two runs for the Cardinals.

Kelsie Long recorded a triple and reached base all of her three times at bat and added two RBIs for Woodland. Brooke Miles had a double and three RBIs.

Mara Mayo went the distance in the circle and sustained the loss for Bloomfield. She allowed 13 earned runs, struck out four and walked four.

Delaney Mayo had the only hit of the game for the Wildcats.

Freshman Kaileigh Dirden had another home run, this time a walk-off two-run homer in the final inning as the Rams trounced the Bravettes in four innings to pick up the conference win at home.

Dirden pitched a complete game to get the win for Scott City (6-2, 2-0 Scott-Mississippi Conference). She tallied 10 strikeouts and walked no batters. She also added four RBIs for the Rams, as did teammate Ginny Mott.

Jaime Glastetter hit two doubles and notched two RBIs, while Diamond Ham also had two hits and RBIs for Scott City.

Starting pitcher Kristen Hubbert took the loss. She threw 1/3 inning and allowed seven earned runs on eight hits.

Chelsea Phillips had a single for Scott County Central's lone hit.

Faith Kapp scored both goals as the Indians remained undefeated with a win over the Hawks in the opening round of the Windsor Tournament in Imperial, Missouri.

Kaiti Schnurbusch and Kalli Seabaugh had the assists for Kapp's goals.

Goalkeeper Courtney Brewer made two saves for the Indians (3-0).

Marissa Jones netted the lone goal for Kelly (4-4). The Hawks resume tournament play at 6 p.m. tonight against Affton.

BOYS VOLLEYBALL

Blake Dunlap nailed 14 kills and dished out four assists to pace the Bulldogs in a three-set loss to the host Eagles in O'Fallon, Missouri.

Evan Landewee added 12 assists and six kills for Notre Dame (7-2). Sam Dohogne recorded four kills and two blocks, while Hunter Tucker served three aces for the Bulldogs.

Living Word Christian improved to 5-3.
