Aleta Marie Faust, 101, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, April 22, 2016, at her home.

She was born May 28, 1914, in Evansville, Indiana, to Roger William and Gladys Hullett Stevens.

She and Delbert Jeremiah Faust were married Dec. 20, 1933, at Cape Girardeau. He passed away April 16, 1993.

Aleta was a licensed practical nurse at Saint Francis Hospital for 27 years, retiring in 1976.

She was a former member of Living Way Foursquare Church and later attended Bethany Baptist Church.She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.

Survivors include three daughters, Carolyn (Frank) LaFentres and Elizabeth (Ernest) Farmer of Cape Girardeau and Judith (Edward) Wattles of Ramsey, Illinois; a brother, Richard (Doris) Stevens of Evansville, Indiana; 13 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son and daughter-in-law, Joseph R. and Carol Sue Faust; a brother; and two sisters.

Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Mike Woelk officiating.

Burial will be at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to Saint Francis Hospice of Cape Girardeau or Bethany Baptist Church.
