The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.
Arrests
- Victor M. Miller, 31, 1817 W. Main St., was arrested on suspicion of operating a motor vehicle while operator's license suspended, possession of marijuana under 35 grams, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia and failure to register a motor vehicle.
- Lisa A. Goodson, 53, 1012 Sioux Ave., was arrested on suspicion of stealing.

Summonses
- Aaron J. Anderson, 39, of Jackson was issued a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle.
- Laura M. Wright, 35, of Cape Girardeau was issued summonses for failure to display plate and failure to register a motor vehicle.
Miscellaneous
- Check the welfare was requested in the 600 block of Colorado Street.
- Peace disturbance was reported in the 800 block of Jackson Trail.
