Eunice Beasley

THEBES, Ill. -- Eunice Virginia Moore Beasley, 91, of Thebes passed away at 3:30 a.m. Thursday, May 5, 2016, at her home.

Eunice was born Feb. 25, 1925, at Gale, Illinois, the daughter of the late Jesse and Eva Hunsaker Moore.

Eunice was a housewife and homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Robert Jesse Beasley and William "Bill" Beasley; and her husband, Robert R. Beasley, on Feb. 26, 2010.

Survivors include three granddaughters, Rena Lenand of Scott City, Lisa Muller and Lorna Freed; nine great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

A graveside funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Rose Hill Cemetery in Thebes, with the Rev. Tom Bridges officiating. Friends and family are asked to meet at the cemetery prior to the service time. Interment will follow.
