Dowling -- 60 years

Paul and Dolores Dowling celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Saturday, May 28, with a dinner hosted by their children.

Dowling and the former Dolores Hohler were married May 30, 1956, at St. Mary Cathedral in Cape Girardeau. Monsignor Marion Forest performed the ceremony. Attendants were Becky (Hohler) Rushin, Barbara (Hohler) Hamilton, Carolyn (Cambron) Clayton, Jack Burris, Delano Hobbs and Bob Shepard.

The couple has four children, Donna (Mike) York, Doug (Vicky) Dowling, the late Keith Dowling and the late Mary Dowling. The couple also has three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
