KENNETT, Mo. -- The Ride the Fault Line Bicycle Tour will visit Kennett this weekend. The seven-day tour takes participants through Missouri, Arkansas, Tennessee and Kentucky. KENNETT, Mo. -- The Ride the Fault Line Bicycle Tour will visit Kennett this weekend.

The seven-day tour takes participants through Missouri, Arkansas, Tennessee and Kentucky. This is the second consecutive year the tour will visit Kennett. The tour will stop in Kennett for two overnight stays, Sunday to June 13 and June 14 to 15. Participants in the tour will stop to camp at the American Legion building and Kennett Chamber of Commerce grounds.

"We are lucky to have this group visit our community. Their presence gives a positive economic boost to our merchants," said Melissa Combs, chamber executive director.

On Sunday, the guests will be greeted by grilled food from the Kennett Jaycees from noon to 7 p.m. and music from The Lucky Brothers from 3 to 7 p.m. Community members are invited to come socialize with the tourists and listen to the music. On June 14, participants are being encouraged to experience Kennett attractions, stores and restaurants.
