The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Brittnee L. Davis, 17, 1116 Ranney Ave., was arrested on suspicion of damaging a window.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of domestic assault and endangering the welfare of a child.
  • Marcus M. Broughton, 25, of Chaffee, Missouri, was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug parpahernalia and possession of a controlled substance.

Summonses

  • Lester W. Goodin, 72, of Cape Girardeau was issued summonses for animal leash law required and animal bite at 380 N. Park Ave.
  • Jeremiah R. Twiggs, 33, of Cape Girardeau was issued summonses for resisting arrest and property damage at 507 S. Sprigg St.
  • Shauntel L. Twiggs, 27, of Cape Girardeau was issued summonses for resisting arrest and property damage at 507 S. Sprigg St.

Assault

  • Assault was reported.

Burglary

  • Burglary and theft of clothing, medication, charges and a television were reported at 1113 N. Middle St.

Thefts

  • A license-plate tab was reported stolen.
  • Assorted merchandise was reported stolen at Fred's, 121 S. Sprigg St.
  • A bicycle was reported stolen at 219 N. Henderson Ave.
  • Theft and spray paint on a wall, window and two road signs were reported at 221 N. Fountain St.
  • Musical instruments and recorders were reported stolen at 227 S. Pacific St.

Property damage

  • Four tires were reported damaged at 2857 Themis St.

Miscellaneous

  • A sign was reported found.
