Scott City was the only local program with any fastpitch softball players on the spring season all-state list, earning four representatives.

Freshman Kaileigh Dirden is the lone Ram to earn first-team status, after a stellar debut season that saw her bat .623 with a state-record 16 home runs, 51 RBIs (the eighth highest total in state history) and a 19-2 record in the pitcher's circle. Her ERA was 1.40 and she posted 180 strikeouts.

The second team features senior shortstop Valerie Bahr as an infielder, junior Tori Buckner in the outfield and junior Jamie Glastetter as a utility player.

Other Southeast Missouri players making the cut include Kennett's Hannah Criswell (first team catcher) and Madi Parr (second team pitcher) and Malden's Alexis Campbell (first team infielder), Katelyn Goodman (second team pitcher), Lana Reed (second team catcher), Blake Tinsley (second team infielder) and Mary Hampton (second team outfielder).

A number of Scott City and Oran standouts help fill out the all-region squad from the spring fastpitch softball season.

For the Rams, Bahr, Buckner, Dirden and Glastetter were all selected.

For the Eagles, freshman Leah Cauble, senior Tatum May and freshman Claire Ramsey made the cut.
