A deputy discovered she had a Scott County warrant for probation violation for drugs, and she was arrested, Walter reported.

After a Scott County police dog found the presence of possible drugs in the vehicle, a search of a diaper bag revealed another bag containing drug paraphernalia used to ingest methamphetamine, Walter reported. Inside Gardiner’s purse were a bag containing more drug paraphernalia and a small corner bag with white, crystal-like substances, Walter reported. All the items tested positive for methamphetamine.

Gardiner was transported to the Scott County Jail.

Bond was set by the court at $5,000, cash only.
