Teen dies after incident at Kennett Country Club pool

KENNETT, Mo. — Logan Cossey, 19, of Kennett died after an incident at the Kennett Country Club pool early Saturday morning, the Kennett Police Department reported.

Police said officers were called to the Kennett Country Club just before 7:30 a.m. Saturday about a possible drowning.

There, they learned a group of people went to the pool overnight while the business was closed.

Officers also learned Cossey was taken to Twin Rivers Medical Center by private vehicle, then flown to Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, where he died later.
