The Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls Monday:

• Medical assists were made at 5:39 a.m. on Albert Street; 10:27 a.m. on Bessie Street; 10:56 a.m. on South Benton Street; 11:33 a.m. on South Mount Auburn Road; 1:05 p.m. on Brenda Kay Court; 3:40 p.m. on William Street; 5:31 p.m. on Linden Street; and 7:49 p.m. on South Middle Street.
• At 4:49 a.m., a call about swimming in recreational water areas on North West End Boulevard.
• At 10:58 a.m., attempted burning, illegal action on William Street.
• At 1:18 p.m., a citizen assist on Linden Street.
• At 7:02 p.m., a call on Clark Avenue.
• At 9:48 p.m., a call on Westwood Drive.
