Will someone please bring a Red Robin restaurant to Cape/Jackson area?

Bloomfield Road

Bloomfield Road is the prettiest road this close to Cape Girardeau. I have traveled this road at all times of day and night since 1971 when I moved from Cape Girardeau to Chaffee, Missouri. When on this road I have not seen many cars, so I'm not sure why the city thinks it needs to be widened. Every few months the city puts patches on top of the other six or seven already there. What the roads needs is a resurfacing. If it is widened, I assume, the trees would be cut down and then you have an ugly road with blank fields on both sides. Have you driven this road in any season where you can see the beautiful snow, fall leaves or summer green? Please leave this road alone, just resurface it!

Bad lighting

The new LED street lights are horrible. They make the area under the light extremely bright, and beyond the lit area it's pitch black. Security is reduced with these lights. The blue-white light is so bright it hurts my eyes. Are these the same lights used in prison yards?

Local ideology

I'm glad we are protected, allowing a free flowing exchange of ideas. But if I was so unhappy with this conservative region that it caused me to contact Speak Out daily in angst maligning the area's ideology, I think I'd move.

Good news, bad news

Good news. According to a source I consider very reliable, ISIS will be wiped out within a year to a year and a half. The bad news is that it's virtually inevitable that one or more organizations will replace it.

Blue light

We urgently need to get the blue light in support of law enforcement started again. It breifly started last year, but not everyone knew about it. You can get blue spot lights at almost any hardware store. Very inexpensive. They work great. We need to support our officers in any way we can. They put their lives on the line every day for all of us.
