The city of Jackson annexed two small parcels of land during the board of aldermen meeting Wednesday evening.

The annexation, proposed by Jackson real estate developers Silver Key Properties LLC, includes 337 and 355 Timber Lane. The properties are south of New McKendree United Methodist Church near South Hope Street.

During the meeting, the board also approved a final change order for $10,520 to Visu-Sewer of Missouri LLC as part of the recent annual sanitary sewer lining program.

It also approved a request from the Cape Area Habitat for Humanity that would allow the not-for-profit to salvage items from a city-owned residence at 4193 S. Old Orchard Road and approved the addition of crosswalk designations on East Deerwood Drive where it intersects with Cricket Drive and Aberdine Circle.
