Dewayne Felty

Dewayne Eugene "Tator" Felty, 33, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, Sept. 16, 2016.

He was born Dec. 9, 1982, in Cape Girardeau to Wayne Gustave Felty and Lisa Kay Dow.

He worked with his father as a roofer with Felty Roofing. Tator had a loving heart and was always there for the family and was always ready to help anyone in need. He enjoyed drawing and collecting rocks.

Survivors include his parents; his fiancee, Danielle Aubuchon; three sisters, Crystal Felty, Misty Felty-Reed and Brittany Dow, all of Cape Girardeau; grandparents, Dorotha Allen and Harvey D. Dow Jr.; four nieces; and three nephews.

Friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. J.T. Thomason officiating. Burial will be at Fairmount Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the funeral home to help the family with funeral expenses.
