The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
  • Austin E. Bush, 26, 1964 Big Bend Road, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for false declaration and two Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear for traffic offenses.
  • Sylvester J. Williams, 31, of Kennett, Missouri, was arrested on two Dunklin County, Missouri, warrants for obstructing government operations and property damage/tampering with a motor vehicle.
  • Crystal R. Edney, 39, 620 S. Henderson Ave., was arrested on a Scott City warrant for failure to appear for expired plates.
  • Kyle E. McGuire, 25, of Sedgewickville, Missouri, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for improper registration.
  • Theresa M. Randol, 38, 416 N. Frederick St., No. 2, was arrested on a Bollinger County, Missouri, warrant for driving while intoxicated.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of tampering with physical evidence, possession of methamphetamine and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
  • Dylan W. Neal, 24, 176 Garden Lane, was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Darius D. Pullen, 17, no address given, was arrested on suspicion of stealing a cellphone.

Summons

  • Kay E. Pruitt, 41, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for shoplifting at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.

Assault

  • Assault, property damage, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon were reported at 2117 William St.

Thefts

  • A cellphone, wallet and its contents were reported stolen at 2513 Jonquil Lane.
  • Theft of a purse and its contents and damage to a vehicle passenger window were reported at 1536 N. Spanish St.
  • Medication was reported stolen at 3255 Independence St.
  • A license plate was reported stolen at 735 Normal Ave.

Robbery

  • Robbery and armed criminal action were reported at Chocolate Works, 411 Broadway.

Burglary

  • Burglary and the theft of fertilizer, a golf cart and tools were reported at Dalhouseie Golf Club, 6241 Dalhousie Drive.

Property damage

  • A vehicle was reported damaged at 107 Independence St.
  • A broken door was reported at 615 Broadway.
  • Lawn furniture and landscaping were reported damaged at 192 Bristle Ridge.
