The Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls Wednesday:

• Medical assists were made at 7:56 a.m. on Village Drive; 12:34 p.m. on New Madrid Street; and 9:26 p.m. on Linden Street.
• At 9:29 a.m., emergency medical service on Erna Street.
• At 1:27 p.m., assist invalid on South West End Boulevard.
• At 2:14 p.m., a call on South Ellis Street.
• At 3:10 p.m., a call on North Fountain Street.
• At 3:23 p.m., emergency medical service on Vantage Drive.
• At 3:44 p.m., no incident found on arrival at Boxwood Drive.
• At 4:02 p.m., assist police or other governmental agency on Interstate 55.
• At 4:27 p.m., a water or steam leak on South Sprigg Street.
