The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • A 14-year-old girl was referred to juvenile authorities on suspicion of assault.
  • Casey J. Moser, 27, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Jackson warrant for failure to appear on a show-cause order.
  • Kyle Z. Colyott, 20, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault.
  • Luke R. Trankle, 26, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of first-degree burglary, second-degree burglary and stealing over $500.
  • Matthew A. Hinkle, 29, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of second-degree domestic assault.

Summonses

  • Andrew L. Bonner, 46, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for seat-belt violation.
  • Erik T. Brown, 43, of Jackson was issued a summons for stop-sign violation.

  • An assault was reported in the 2200 block of East Jackson Boulevard.

Thefts

  • Theft was reported in the 300 block of East Lane.
  • Theft was reported in the 1900 block of East Jackson Boulevard.

Property damage

  • Property damage was reported in the 1300 block of Apache Avenue.
  • Property damage was reported in the area of Old Cape Road and Georgia Street.

Miscellaneous

  • Peace disturbance was reported in the 100 block of South Shawnee Boulevard.
  • Domestic disturbance was reported in the 800 block of Amanda Street.
  • Check the welfare was requested in the 1400 block of Highland Drive.
  • Domestic disturbance was reported in the 300 block of Broadridge Drive.
