The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Deonandrea M. Stainback, 26, 534 N. Fountain St. No. 2, was arrested at West End Boulevard and Jefferson Avenue on two Cape Girardeau warrants for seat-belt violation and improper registration.
  • Kiara S. Selvy-Carter, 26, 1123 S. Ellis St., was arrested at Maple and South Sprigg streets on Cape Girardeau County warrants for probation violation.
  • Noah M. Hendry, 22, 1710 N. Sprigg St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for dangerous drugs.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.

Summonses

  • James E. Cannon, 59, of Cape Girardeau was issued summonses for display of certain items prohibited and failure to maintain private property free of litter at 914 Jefferson Ave.
  • Joseph D. Rose, 36, of Cape Girardeau was issued summonses for display of certain items prohibited and nuisance declared at 3102 Westfield Drive.

Burglaries

  • Burglary, damage to a door and theft of a television were reported at 605 N. Spanish St.
  • Burglary and theft of ammunition and a firearm were reported on North West End Boulevard.

Thefts

  • A firearm was reported stolen at 3280 Perryville Road.
  • Prescription medication was reported stolen at 603 Woodbine Place.

Miscellaneous

  • An animal bite was reported.
  • Assist other agency was reported.
  • Fraud was reported.
