The Hopper Road project was never intended to merely straighten out the approach to the overpass. The whole idea behind that construction is to prepare the area for the extension Veterans Memorial Drive that will eventually run all the way from William to LaSalle. They reopened it early to quit inconveniencing the people who live on the west side of the interstate. Why don't you wait until they actually finish with the project before you start criticizing yet?...Hopper Road

I would like to thank Hutson Furniture for a wonderful childhood memory. I'm 64 and in the late 50s, early 60s, my mother would load us kids in the car to go look at Hutson Furniture's Christmas window display. Just getting to go and watch the mechanical display so many years ago was a treat, an event for us kids; something I'll never forget. Thanks for the beautiful Christmas season memory of yesteryear Hutson Furniture!
