The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Kenneth B. Hobeck, 32, homeless of Cape Girardeau was arrested on three Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear for stealing.
  • Justin C. McLendon, 35, of Jackson was arrested on a Scott County warrant for failure to appear for theft.

Summonses

  • Ryan H. Tegel, 19, and Joshua P. Thomas, 19, both of Cape Girardeau were issued summonses for drug possession, possession of drug paraphernalia and expired license plates.
  • Candy R. Caldwell, 40, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for displaying plates of another person, operating a motor vehicle while license revoked and operating a vehicle without maintaining financial responsibility.
  • Tyler L. Ober, 24, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for stealing a battery charger and electronic devices from Best Buy, 3026 William St.
  • Joshua M. Morrison, 19, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Theft

  • Money was reported stolen at 5 S. Henderson Ave.

Miscellaneous

  • A 31-year-olf man was taken into protective custody.
