The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Michael E. Botkin, 25, 229 S. Lorimier St., was arrested at 3039 William St. on Scott County warrants for failure to appear for failure to register a motor vehicle and failure to appear for paraphernalia.
  • Thaddeus J. Pinkney, 44, rear 1238 Meadowbrook Lane, was arrested at 1238 Meadowbrook Lane on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation (assault).
  • Miranda J. Gregory, 34, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, was arrested at Kingshighway and Broadway on an Arnold, Missouri, warrant for traffic offense.
  • Jamie L. Waters, 35, of Sikeston, Missouri, was arrested at 3049 William St. on a Scott County warrant for failure to appear for receiving stolen property.
  • Barry L. Wright, 53, 45 S. West End Blvd., was arrested at 531 Boxwood Drive, Apt. 4, on Perry County, Missouri, warrants for theft less than $500 and fraudulent use of a credit or debit device.
  • Sue A. Taylor, 30, 10 Rivercrest Drive, Apt. 3, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for improper registration.
  • Bailey C. Hale, 18, 3022 Wisteria Drive, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for two counts of distribution of a controlled substance.
  • Patricia L. Thomas, 56, 45 S. West End Blvd., was arrested at 45 S. West End Blvd. on a Scott County warrant for failure to appear for fraud.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of domestic assault.
  • Keith A. Whitaker, 22, of Cairo, Illinois, was arrested on suspicion of assault.
  • Harold M. Williams, 42, of Jackson was arrested at 1764 N. Kingshighway on suspicion of operating a motor vehicle without a lamp or taillight and driving while revoked.

Assaults

  • Domestic assault was reported.
  • Assault and unlawful use of a weapon were reported.

Thefts

  • Tires and rims were reported stolen at 1501 N. Kingshighway.
  • A silver 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix was reported stolen at 807 William St. and later recovered.
  • A laptop, wallet and its contents were reported stolen at 2757 Lynwood Hills Drive.

Miscellaneous

  • Unlawful use of a weapon was reported at Good Hope and South Hanover streets.
