The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrest does not imply guilt.

Arrest

• A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of domestic assault and resisting or interfering with arrest.

Summonses

• Austin A. Urhahn, 25, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for animal leash law required at 3033 Boutin Drive.
• Richard C. Urhahn, 61, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for animal leash law required at 3033 Boutin Drive.
• Crista L. Stafford, 40, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for display of certain items prohibited.
• Angel R. Avery, 34, homeless, was issued a summons for resisting arrest at 104 S. Vantage Drive.

Burglary

• Burglary, armed criminal action, unlawful use of a weapon and damage to a ceramic swan and a door frame were reported at 1460 N. Water St.

Property damage

• Damage to door frames was reported at 313 N. Fountain St.

Miscellaneous

• An animal bite was reported.
• A 47-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
• Fraudulent use of a credit or debit device was reported.
• Violation of an order of protection was reported.
