CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Robert F. Horman, 77, of Chaffee passed away Saturday, Jan. 14, 2017, at the family home.

He was born March 4, 1939, in Chaffee to the late Fred and Mayme Griffin Horman. He married Marilyn Ann Griffin on July 7, 1962. She preceded him in death Jan. 29, 2013.

Robert was a retired supervisor with Rubbermaid in Jackson. He was a member of St. Ambrose Men's Club. He served in the U.S. Army.

Survivors include two sons, Mike (Michelle) Horman of Chaffee and Scott (Leslie) Horman of Chaffee; five grandchildren, Zachary, Trenton, Megan, Garner and Griffin Horman; three stepgrandchildren, Trevor, Kiana and Kerri Cannon; two great-grandchildren, Dane and Sawyer Horman; two brothers, Butch (Aldell) Horman of St. Louis and James (Paulette) Horman of Jonesboro, Arkansas; and two sisters, Aline Feilner of St. Louis and Ina (Charlie) Eftink of Leopold, Missouri.

He also was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. Monday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Chaffee.

The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Chaffee, with the Rev. Randy Tochtrop officiating. Burial will be at St. Ambrose Catholic Cemetery.
