Joann Amelia Devenport, 74, of Millersville passed away Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2017, at Woodland Hills Nursing Home in Marble Hill, Missouri.
She was born Feb. 1, 1942, in Cape Girardeau, the daughter of Otto and Aven Ella Exler Windeknecht. She and Jessie Darrel Devenport were united in marriage June 28, 1985.
Joann worked for Rust & Martin as a sewing-machine operator and was of the Lutheran faith.
She is survived by her husband, Darrel Devenport of Millersville; stepsons, Larry Devenport of Leopold, Missouri, and Darrell Devenport of Marble Hill; stepdaughter, Connie Sue Morris of Kissimmee, Florida; sisters, Louise Callahan of Leopold and Cathy Swear of Cape Girardeau; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gerald Huff officiating. Burial will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill.
