CAPE GIRARDEAU

The Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls Saturday.

• Medical assists were made at 2:32 p.m. on Dearmore Court; 3:44 p.m. on South Hanover Street; 6:26 p.m. on Olive Street; 6:40 p.m. on Independence Street; 7:34 p.m. on Vantage Drive; and 9:34 p.m. on South Sprigg Street.
• At 6:35 p.m., a call was dispatched and canceled en route to Lynnwood Drive.
• At 7:19 a.m., an alarm-system activation, no fire, on North Mount Auburn Road.
• At 11:51 a.m., a building fire on William Street.
• At 1:19 p.m., a false alarm or false call on William Street.
• At 10:23 p.m., emergency medical service on Delwin Street.
• At 11:47 p.m., a smoke or odor investigation on Lexington Avenue.
