Kathy R. Depuy, 53, of Jackson passed away Monday, Feb. 27, 2017, at the home of her mother in Jackson.

She was born Sept. 18, 1963, in St. Louis to Bobbie and Pauline Tripp Launius.

Kathy was a 1982 graduate of Maplewood-Richmond Heights High School. She subsequently earned a certificate in dental hygiene.

In 1992, she moved from St. Louis to Jackson and was most recently self-employed, working in residential and commercial cleaning in the Jackson- Cape Girardeau area.

Kathy was a member of Fruitland Community Church. She enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and working in the yard. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother, faithfully attending any event her children and grandchildren participated in. She had a generous spirit and always put others before herself.

Loving survivors include two daughters, Kaitlyn (Curtis) Kraus of Jackson and Taylor Depuy of Cape Girardeau; a son, Michael Depuy of Jackson; two grandchildren, Allison and Maci Kraus of Jackson; her mother, Pauline (Thomas) Skelly of Jackson; her father, Bob (Marilynn) Launius of Piedmont, Missouri; her maternal grandmother, Virginia Tripp of Jackson; four siblings, Kevin (Theresa) Launius of Ohio, Karen (Robert) Hill of Patterson, Missouri, Teresa (Derrick) Pickles of Imperial, Missouri, and Tracy (Steve) Schulte of Ballwin, Missouri; seven nieces and nephews; and six great-nieces and great-nephews.

Visitation is from 3 p.m. to service time Sunday at Fruitland Community Church in Fruitland.

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday at the church, with the Rev. Mike Parry officiating.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to Fruitland Community Church (Children's Church) or St. Jude Children's Hospital.

Cremation was accorded by McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
