Maxine Hill, 93, of Cape Girardeau went to be with her heavenly Father on Wednesday, March 1, 2017, at Southeast Hospital.

She was born Jan. 28, 1924, in Patton, Missouri, to Robert G. and Belinda Mae Cook Wooldridge.

She and Earl J. Hill were married Sept. 23, 1941, at Farmington, Missouri. He preceded her in death June 5, 1984.

Maxine was a member of Red Star Baptist Church.

Survivors include three sons, Ron (Paula) Hill, Gary (Susan) Hill and Dennis Hill, all of Cape Girardeau; one daughter, Cheryl (Lynn) Corn of Scott City; five grandchildren, Sara (Andy) Callis of Cape Girardeau, Ryan (Leslie) Corn of Nashville, Tennessee, Nathan Corn of Kansas City, Missouri, Ronda (Brian) Senn of Cape Girardeau and LeeAnn (Joe) Goin of Jackson; and nine great-grandchildren, Parker, Emmalynn and Adeline Callis, Cody, Collin and Ellie Senn, Jared and Nolan Roth and Carter Goin.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Kelly Wooldridge; and two sisters, Rose Mills and Golda Woods.

Friends may call from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

Funeral service will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jeremy Sells officiating. Burial will be at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.

For the past five years, Maxine was blessed to be a part of the Ratliff Care group family.

In appreciation for the love and care given to her, the family requests memorial contributions be given to Ratliff Care Center Fund Account for Activities and Events for Residents, 717 N. Sprigg St., Cape Girardeau, MO 63701.
