Phillips -- DeProw

Chelsea Lynn Phillips and Brandon Lee DeProw were married Nov. 19, 2016, at Eisleben Lutheran Church in Scott City. Marty Hasz performed the ceremony. Heraleen Bowers of Scott City was the pianist.

Chelsea is the daughter of Donnie and Linda Phillips of Scott City. Brandon is the son of Sandy DeProw of Scott City.

The maid of honor was Angie Pendergrass of Cape Girardeau, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Mallory Lee of Scott City, cousin of the bride; Courtney Tew of Scott City, friend of the bride; Erika Medlin of Scott City, cousin of the bride; Kristen Keesee of Maryland Heights, Missouri, friend of the bride; Stephanie Horrell of Chaffee, Missouri, friend of the bride; and Courtney Koehler of Patton, Missouri, friend of the bride. Junior bridesmaid was Hayden Collier of Scott City, niece of the groom.

The flower girl was Madison Collier of Scott City, niece of the groom.

The ring bearer was Owen Thompson, son of Denny and Shannon Thompson of Kelso, Missouri, and cousin of the groom.

Candlelighters were Ashley Zeigler of Scott City, cousin of the bride, and Abby Janet of Scott City, friend of the bride.

The best man was Corey Speakman of Cape Girardeau, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Shawn Lee of Scott City, cousin of the bride; Jordan Tew of Scott City, friend of the groom; Travis Phillips of Scott City, brother of the bride; Ethan Woods of Scott City, friend of the groom; Jordan Barnard of St. Louis, friend of the groom; Anwar Felton of Nashville, Tennessee, friend of the groom; Michael Zeigler of Scott City, cousin of the bride; Darius Boyer of Jackson, friend of the groom; and Ben Delossantos of Chaffee, friend of the groom.

The reception was held at the Elks Lodge in Cape Girardeau.

Chelsea received a degree in elementary education in 2013 from Southeast Missouri State University. She is a fourth-grade teacher at Bell City Elementary School.

Brandon is pursuing a degree in accounting at Southeast Missouri State University. He is a department manager at Wal-Mart.

A June wedding trip is planned to Riviera Maya, Mexico.

The couple lives in Scott City.
