The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items Tuesday. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Steffan J. Troxel, 30, of Jackson was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for violating steady signal.
  • Amanda J. Benson, 20, of Doe Run, Missouri, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for traffic offense.
  • Destiny L. Barber, 26, of Chaffee, Missouri, was arrested at 1444 Independence St. on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for violation of a court order.
  • Corey A. Estes, 41, homeless, was arrested at 1112 Linden St. on a Scott County warrant for failure to appear for non-support.
  • William S. Nunn, 36, 601 N. Sprigg St., Apt. 3, was arrested at Broadway and Lacey Street on Cape Girardeau warrants for improper registration and motor-vehicle financial responsibility.
  • Jennifer G. Wilson, 35, of Sikeston, Missouri, was arrested at William Street and Park Avenue on a Missouri probation and parole warrant for probation violation.
  • Maurice Braxton, 57, 302 Linden St., was arrested at 2021 Independence St. on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation.
  • Kay E. Pruitt, 42, 317 S. Ellis St., was arrested at South Hanover and Independence streets on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for dangerous drugs.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of possession of a controlled substance at South Hanover and Independence streets.

Summons

  • David S. Cornelius, 30, of Oran, Missouri, was issued a summons for stealing copper wire at Menards, 535 Siemers Drive.

Thefts

  • Batteries were reported stolen from a motor vehicle at Commercial and Rusmar streets.
  • Jewelry and cash were reported stolen at 1911 Westwood Drive.

Property damage

  • Vehicle windows were reported damaged at 20 S. Henderson Ave.
  • Tires were reported damaged at 715 North St.
