BENTON, Mo. -- Harold Gene Smith, 89 of Benton died Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at the Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday at Amick-Burnett Chapel in Benton. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the chapel, with the Rev. Dennis Lowe officiating. Burial will be in Old Morley Cemetery in Morley, Missouri, with full military honors...
