William Hanlon

William "Bill" Hanlon, 82, of Delta passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2017, at Chaffee Nursing Center in Chaffee, Missouri.

He was born Dec. 25, 1934, in Delta to the late Francis and Mary Montgomery Hanlon. He married Emma Gramlisch on Oct. 2, 1952, and she survives of the home.

Bill worked as a lead manager at Burkart Manufacturers in St. Louis for 18 years. He also worked for Chaffee IGA and later Chaffee Food Giant.

He was of the Catholic faith.

Survivors include his wife, Emma Hanlon; a son, Bill (Becky) Hanlon of Chaffee; two grandsons, Matthew (Jeannie) Hanlon of O'Fallon, Missouri, and Joshua (Jessica) Hanlon of Chaffee; and six great-grandchildren, Claire, Ava, Craig, Carter, Jocelyn and Asher.

He also was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.

Friends may call after 1 p.m. Friday until time of service at 2 p.m. at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, with the Rev. Josh Boley officiating. Burial will be at Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.
