CAPE GIRARDEAU

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrest does not imply guilt.

Arrest

• A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of possession of a controlled substance at North Fountain and Pearl streets.

Summons

• Laurentiss Scott, no age given, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for possession of a controlled substance at South Ellis and Linden streets.

Assaults

• Assault on a law-enforcement officer, violation of an order of protection and harassment were reported.

Burglaries

• Burglary and theft were reported at 1719 Potomac Place.
• Burglary and theft were reported at 2020 Concord Place.

Thefts

• Theft was reported at 3022 Mimosa Drive.
• Stealing from a motor vehicle was reported at 1038 W. Mount Drive.

Property damage

• Property damage was reported at Winks convenience store, 2021 Perryville Road.
• Property damage was reported at 2509 Tulip Lane.

Miscellaneous

• A juvenile was reported missing.
• Violation of an order of protection was reported.
• Violation of an order of protection was reported.
• A 31-year-old man was taken into protective custody at North Frederick and Bellevue streets.
• Assist other agency was reported on Interstate 55.
• Careless and imprudent driving, failure to yield, failure to stop at a stop sign and resisting arrest by fleeing were reported at Themis and North Hanover streets.
