Carrie A. Darter, 91, of Cape Girardeau went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 19, 2017, at Chateau Girardeau Health Center.

She was born April 10, 1926, in Advance, Missouri, to Guy and Estle Hawkins McNeely.

She and Roy William Darter were married Friday, March 1, 1946, at Cape Girardeau. He passed away May 8, 2014.

She was a member of First Church of Nazarene.

Survivors include her two sons, Roy (Beverly) Darter of Perryville, Missouri, and Terry (Linda) Darter of Fort Myers, Florida; three granddaughters, Erin (Joe) Hoehn of Perryville, Rachel Darter of Chicago and Jordon (Chad) Stewart of Jacksonville, Florida; a great-grandson, Hunter Hoehn; a son-in-law, Thomas Radetic of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Marie Bollinger of Mountain Home, Idaho, and Fern (Denzel) Tripp of House Springs, Missouri; and a brother, Louis (Shirley) McNeely of Jackson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Jennifer G. Radetic on Nov. 1, 2003; six brothers; and two sisters.

Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at First Church of the Nazarene in Cape Girardeau.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at First Church of the Nazarene, with the Rev. Jason Hill officiating. Entombment will be at Cape County Memorial Park Mausoleum in Cape Girardeau.

Memorial contributions may be given to First Church of the Nazarene in Cape Girardeau.

Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
